An Organisation is a grouping of Users and Carers, and may not be a physical entity such as a company or healthcare body.
As such, your Organisation may be:
- A Family: Children acting as the Carers for a parent User
- A Care Home: Staff Carers supporting User residents
- A GP Surgery: GP Carers monitoring patient User data
- Your home in the context of you being an individual acting as both Carer and User for self-monitoring.
An Organisation operates as an "account" in that an Organisation may access mindminder independently of Carers and Users... as such in creating an Organisation here you need to provide a Username and Password.
In order for any Carers to identify the Organisation later on, you also need to provide a unique ID and passphrase will be generated.
There is no maximum or minimum limit to the number of Carers or Users within an Organisation once created.
Note that in creating an Organisation, you will also need to create Carers and Users separately however a specified Contact individual must be nominated; this Organisation Contact does not need to be a Carer themselves (however if using an EMail address as a username here, this must be different between Organisation and Carer contexts).
Note also that if acting as Carer AND Organisation, separate Usernames will need to be provided as mindminder treats Organisations and Carers as separate entities.
